Queen Mary's Girls School

The campus -

The school has a huge campus of approximately 2 acres of land well equipped with the modern amenities.

The campus is fully adorned with lushgreen lanes, variety of plants, flowers and evergreen shady trees. The

school building includes four floors; each floor is occupied by each department i.ePre primary Department,

Primary Department, Middle Department and Senior Secondary Department. Our academic block is

rationally arranged so that students of the same classes are together and develop a better understanding

with each other.

Library and Labs :

The school is running two good libraries in the school building with more than ten thousand books on

various subjects to meet both curricular and co- curricular requirements of teachers and students. In the

Pre-Primary and Primary classes, picture reading cards, storytelling cards and various other books form a

regular feature of instruction. The school is also having spacious and well equipped Air conditioned

Computer labs, Science Labs, Maths labs and Geography lab to prepare student for a bright future.

Play field :

The extensive and large play field is available for athletics and outdoor games. There are Skating, Basketball,

Volleyball, Short-put, Kho-Kho.

Indoor Stadium

The School includes a well designed and very spacious indoor stadium which allows the students to

specializes in many of the indoor games under the competent coaching and training. There are adequate

arrangements for indoor games and besides this the courts for tennis, badminton, boxing and also the

tables for table-tennis. A modern gymnasium has been provided with all the modern equipments.

Smart Class

Smart classs in all the classrooms (Nursery to XII) with L.C.D computer and interactive smart board. Smart

Board enhances students learning experience. It provides student enriched learning experience by

projecting visual elements.

Transport

A fleet of comfortable buses with experienced drivers will pick and drop students, as well as teaching and

administrative staff from/ to various parts of the city.

Curriculum

Our aim is to develop a school curriculum that teaches Leadership, tolerance, team- work, attributes of

peace, stress- management and other related skills. We are aiming at an education that will integrate the

various sections of society by providing more to the weaker sections of society an opportunity for good

education, which is the biggest and most single factor of equalization.

Courses of study

The school is affiliated to the Central Board Of Secondary Education, New Delhi. Pre- Primary classes are

introduced to numbers and languages through play way method.

Classes I, II & III (Primary)

Hindi, English, Mathematics, EVS, Computer, G.K, Art & Craft and Physical Education

Classes IV, V, VI, VII & VIII (Middle)

Hindi, English, Mathematics, Social Science (History, Civics, Geography and Economics). Science (Physics,

Chemistry, Biology), Computer, Art &Craft and Physical Education.

Classes XI & XII

This (+2 scheme) has been divided into three streams-

A. Science- Hindi & English (Core languages), Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology and Computer

Science

B. Commerce- Hindi & English (Core Languages), Accountancy, Business Studies, Mathematics,

Economics and Computer Science.

C. Humanities- Hindi & English (Core languages), Economics, Geography, Political Science and Computer

Science.
